24 Hour First Light Festival Suffolk
The First Light Festival was the first of its kind to be held on the golden sandy beaches of Lowestoft which is the most Eastly Town in Suffolk located on the East Coast. The event was part of Suffolk day which was being held as a free family orientated festival and designed to celebrate the summer solstice.
The event started with a March of the Samba Drums and the Cantor Theatre School providing some excellent percussion and dance whilst mamaking their way to the main stage on the beach. A mixture of activities on the main stage, Arts and crafts, children’s areas and multiple music genres.
It was a 24 hour event with the burning of the Pakefield Man at 02:00hr on the beach. Camping was made available as well as a silent disco, at least the neighbours could not complain about the noise!
